Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details

• Location: White Plains, NY 10601 (Westchester County)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care, Women's Imaging Department
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: February 2, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel assignment
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm (8-hour day/evening shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,830–$3,040 per week
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Equipment: Hologic 2D & 3D Mammography systems
• Parking: On-site parking available (nominal fee)

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT (M) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Experience with Hologic mammography equipment preferred
• Ability to perform breast biopsies is a plus
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required (no exemptions)
• Eligible for New York State licensure as a Mammography Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D and 3D mammography exams using Hologic equipment
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process
• Assist with breast biopsies and other clinical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Epic electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols in a clinical setting
