Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar, an emerging and rapidly growing franchise, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Salon Manager to join our team at our brand-new location in Scarsdale (East Chester), NY, opening in June 2023. Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar is also seeking a passionate and talented Assistant Manager to join our team. If you have a love for the beauty industry, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for social media management, we want to hear from you!

As an Assistant Manager at Moxie, you will be responsible for supporting the Salon Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated professionals. Your social media expertise will play a key role in promoting our brand and driving client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily salon operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and a seamless experience for clients
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of beauty professionals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
• Collaborate with the Salon Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including the management of the salon's social media presence
• Monitor salon performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Act as a liaison between the salon team and upper management, providing regular updates and feedback
• Continually seek opportunities for professional growth and development, staying current on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience
• Salon experience required
• Cosmetology License preferred
• Previous experience in management, preferably in the salon or beauty industry
• Preferred experience managing and growing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
• A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to staying current on trends and techniques
