Job description:                                Controller and Payroll Clerk

Large multi state Construction Firm with 28 years of business is looking for an experienced Controller / Finance Manager. Must be able to multitask and adapt to a busy schedule.

 

Immediate opening with great benefits and top pay. Strong decision making, highly organized, and advanced Excel skills will be keys to success in this stable organization. Benefits include Vacation pay, PTO, 401K, Health Insurance, year-end bonus and incentive bonuses. Must have a minimum of 15 years of finance and accounting experience preferably in the construction industry.

 

Job Duties:

Supervise and complete all aspects of office operations including AR, AP, bank reconciliations, month end, WIP,  job costing, cash flow reports, taxes, insurance, and special projects. Construction experience and bilingual a plus.

Supervise office accounting staff.

Financial reporting for the company owners.

 

Qualifications:

Must be able to run weekly payrolls for two states.

Strong organizational skills and able to delegate tasks to accounting staff with follow-up.

References required.
