Pride Health is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to support our client’s medical facility in Moab, UT. This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Staff Pharmacist – Retail/Community

Location: Moab, Utah 84532

Shift: Variable – Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Holiday coverage required

Contract Length: 13 Weeks/Permanent/Full-Time, both options.

Salary Range for Permanent/FT: $131,040.00 to $137,280.00 + Full benefits: Health, mental health, 403b, PTO, continuing education.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our newly opened Portal Pharmacy, a full-service retail pharmacy serving the Moab community. This full-time role includes rotating coverage during retail hours (Mon–Sat: 9:30 AM–8:30 PM; Sun: 2:30 PM–7:30 PM), with required holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Accurately interpret and dispense medications; review prescriptions for safety and effectiveness.
• Provide patient counseling, immunizations, and medication therapy management.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Maintain inventory levels and participate in 340B program compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate with providers for optimal patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Utah Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance License.
• Strong communication, computer, and clinical skills.

Preferred:

• 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
• APhA Immunization Certification.
• Pharmacy management experience.
