Chief Nursing Officer

As a Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a crucial role in the strategic leadership for all nursing and other designated patient care functions and services within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the nursing practice on a facility level
• Assume 24/7 responsibility and accountability to ensure high quality nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Represent nursing concerns on the governing board and at medical staff leadership meetings

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated history of progressive nursing leadership
• Ability to oversee 10 Directors, 270 Nurses, and 145-bed facility
• Experience spearheading retention and technology adoption efforts
• Experience in building strategy to increase throughput through an Emergency Department
• Experience overseeing a union workforce in a for-profit organization
• Active CA Nursing License or willing to obtain

Compensation and Additional Information:

• Salary up $225K
• Progressive Bonus Structure based on Performance
• Travel is 25% (local)
• Opportunity to grow into multi-site role
