Maintenance Supervisor

Role Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations for two production plants. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving, ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of maintenance technicians across both sites.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Partner with production leaders to prioritize work orders and align maintenance activities with plant schedules.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external repairs or projects.
• Track performance metrics using CMMS, TPM, and OEE systems.
• Promote and enforce GMPs, safety protocols, and food-grade maintenance standards.
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production setting.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance tracking, and reporting.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and OSHA requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and team-focused approach to maintenance and safety.
