Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (ARRT) for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring BLS and the ability to perform diagnostic imaging across all age groups.
Responsibilities- Work in a diagnostic imaging setting
- Perform radiographic examinations according to established protocols
- Patient population includes neonatal through geriatric
- 3x10 hour day shifts per week for a 13-week contract
- Utilize hospital information systems (HIS) and PACS for documentation and imaging
- Responsible for verifying patient identification and exam orders for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain compliance with department policies, safety protocols, quality assurance, and radiation protection standards
- Contribute to effective communication and continuity of care within the healthcare team
- HIPAA compliance required
- Must possess or obtain computer skills necessary for online learning and job-specific competencies
- Active ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in radiology preferred
- Working knowledge of the English language, including speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to operate within hospital information systems and PACS
- License required if applicable
