Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and high-quality imaging results. This role requires collaboration with radiologists, patient care, and adherence to regulatory and facility standards.
Essential Functions

Perform all required MRI procedures using proper positioning and techniques, demonstrating good judgment in evaluating imaging results.

Screen patients for contraindications or precautions prior to exams (e.g., pain, claustrophobia, allergies). Review doctor’s orders and patient history.

Explain procedures to patients, alleviate anxiety, and monitor patient condition during exams. Assist radiologists as needed.

Maintain diagnostic equipment, work areas, and emergency equipment in proper working order. Report issues to supervisor.

Prepare imaging studies for interpretation, including proper labeling, clinical history, and prior exam comparisons.

Assist radiologists with contrast administration using aseptic techniques; recognize and respond to allergic reactions per protocol.

Follow standard precautions, infection control policies, and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies.

Assist with patient scheduling and preparation.

Conduct exams considering patient age, condition, and special needs.

Perform other projects or tasks as requested by US Mobile Imaging, LLC.
Submission Requirements

Minimum 2 years MRI experience – Required

ARRT (MR) Certification – Required
