Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm (weather dependent)
- Snow plowing and winter maintenance work may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and on-call availability during winter months.

Position Overview
As a Landscape General Laborer with Growing Seasons Landscaping (GSL), you’ll be part of a skilled and motivated crew dedicated to transforming and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. From planting and mulching to snow plowing and salting, this hands-on role is perfect for individuals who take pride in physical work, enjoy being outdoors in all seasons, and value teamwork and reliability.
You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects across residential and commercial, properties — contributing to a company known for quality, safety, and professionalism year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of landscaping tasks including mulching, pruning, planting, and landscape installation.
- Operate basic landscaping and snow removal equipment such as skid steers, plows, and salt spreaders safely and efficiently.
- Perform snow plowing, shoveling, and ice management during the winter season to maintain safe and accessible sites.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the start and end of each day.
- Assist in site preparation and cleanup, maintaining organized and hazard-free work zones.
- Follow direction from the Landscape Foreman and collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical and safety knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or snow plowing preferred.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and light equipment (mowers, trimmers, skid steers, etc.) safely.
- Snowplow or winter maintenance experience is a plus — training provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Safety and PPE Requirements
- Required PPE includes steel/composite-toed boots, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
- Long pants and long sleeves must be worn on all job sites.
- Employees are expected to follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines, report hazards promptly, and participate in safety meetings.
