HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

Must have:

 ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH

 

Advanced skills needed:

Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis  and triage.

 

Procedures performed on unit:  all procedures associated with level 2 trauma center

Number of Beds :24\nType of equipment :Level 1 fluid warmer, GE monitor system, Artic sun, Lifepak, Alaris pumps\nDocumentation system: Meditech documentation\nScheduling requirements: every third weekend. Mid-shift schedule. As early as 10a-2230, as late as 1300-0130.\nFloating policy: Rare. Only if other staff have been flexed home.\nPatient Experience requirements: Use of AIDET, whiteboards. Positive attitudes only. Can do culture.\n\nCertifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, prefer CPI, CEN
