We seek an Estate Planning and Probate Attorney who wants to develop with our growing law firm and make a difference in the Greater Austin - San Antonio Corridor. We're pursuing an experienced and leadership-minded Estate Planning and Probate Attorney for our full-service Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, Medicaid, and Trust Administration office. Our boutique firm is expanding & thriving, offering professional counsel in a wide range of estate planning and administration matters – from preparation to administration. Compensation:$95,000 - $110,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Design simple to complex Estate Planning packages that honor clients' needs & wishes utilizing Lipman’s Westlaw and Wealth Counsel from scratch for personalized and complex estates.
- Review and draft comprehensive estate planning packages, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options.
- Discuss plans with clients concerning incapacity, Medicaid planning, and distributing assets.
- Conduct initial consultations for estate planning, probate, and Medicaid planning clientele, as necessary.
- Must be comfortable with contemporaneously tracking and documenting time electronically.
- Attend court hearings and oversee paralegal work on a wide range of probate, guardianship, and trust matters.
- Communicate & engage with clients meeting in-person and virtually.
- Proofread and write general and complex legal correspondence with clients.
- Documentation and process systemization of drafting wills and trusts.
- Have a strategic and results-oriented approach to solving Clients’ problems and communicating the same to Clients in an approachable and understandable manner.
- Actively licensed in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Minimum five years of estate planning, probate, and guardianship experience.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills with a strong analytical aptitude.
- Demonstrated presentation skills & a natural ability to engage with clients respectfully & confidently.
