Travel RN – NeuroSpine Med-Surg / Telemetry – Fort Wayne, IN

13-week travel assignment caring for patients with higher acuity Neuro/Spine and Telemetry needs.

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7P–7A, every other weekend and holidays required 
Guaranteed Hours: 72 or 96 bi-weekly

Requirements:

• 2+ years Med-Surg/Telemetry experience

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Expertise in Neuro assessments, critical thinking, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube and groin site management post-IR

• Floating required

• EMR: Cerner

Scope of Role:
Care for patients with stroke, seizures, post-op Neuro/spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma, level 1 trauma post-ICU care, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care.

Unit Details:

• Beds: 24

• Patient Ratio: 1:5–1:6
