Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based

Location: The School District of Desoto County Arcadia, FL

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Dates: August 4, 2025 May 28, 2026

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (MondayFriday, school schedule)

Caseload/Details:

• School-based setting within The School District of Desoto County

• Supporting students with speech and language needs across grade levels (specific caseload details will be provided during the interview process)

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success

• Develop and implement IEPs, conduct evaluations, and provide both individual and group therapy

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility)

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication and organizational skills
