Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Yerington, NV, this full-semester contract provides an excellent opportunity for SLPs seeking experience in a dynamic K-12 school setting. Positions are available for Clinical Fellows and certified SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Candidates may select caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering flexibility to focus on preferred age groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) credential
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational or healthcare settings
- Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus
- Licensure or eligibility to work in Nevada
- Collaborative skills, especially for applicants relocating with partners or colleagues
Location and Schedule:
- Positions available in Yerington and surrounding areas including Fernley and Silver Springs
- Full-day schedule, 35-38 hours per week
- Contract duration: Full academic semester starting August 2024
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services tailored to student needs across K-12 classrooms
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with educational regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy methods as applicable to reach all students effectively
