Job Description
Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K-12 school setting. This contract assignment offers a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school grades with responsibilities centered on overseeing the Autism program and providing prehensive behavior support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a caseload spanning grades K-12
- Oversee the Autism program, ensuring effective interventions and support
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment data
- Provide itinerant services across 3 to 4 school locations to deliver consistent behavioral support
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BCBA certification is required and must be in hand
- Experience working with students across multiple grade levels (K-12) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct FBAs and implement BIPs effectively
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload efficiently
Location:This position is located in South Plainfield, New Jersey, within a K-12 school environment. The role requires travel between several school sites to ensure prehensive service delivery.
