Physical Therapist - School Setting in Carmel, IN

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school district in Carmel, IN. This role supports the physical therapy needs of students across multiple educational settings, contributing to their developmental and physical progress from early childhood through high school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions tailored to students individual needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as appropriate.
• Stay informed on best practices and ply with educational and therapeutic regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials suitable for school-based therapy.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare environments.
• Ability to manage and adapt caseloads through transitions, including shifts in documentation and programming systems.
• Strong munication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Start date: July 30, 2025 (First Day of School)
• End date: May 29, 2025 (Last Day of School)
• Hours: 8 hours per week with flexible daily start and end times
• Locations include multiple school facilities such as early childhood centers, elementary, intermediate, middle, and high schools.
