Accounts Receivable Coordinator - Temporary Position



Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary maternity leave cover assignment.

Position Type: Temporary
Duration: October 2025 - March 2026
Location: Wappingers Falls, NY (In-office)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, potential Friday remote after training
Hourly Rate: $30/hr

Key Responsibilities



Primary Functions

• Manage A/R portfolio of 500-600 accounts ($1.5-2 million)
• Process customer payments and account reconciliations
• Handle collections including dunning system and follow-up communications
• Process credit card payments (key responsibility)
• Conduct collection calls and email correspondence

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts and discrepancies
• Reconcile customer payments and account transactions
• Maintain accurate customer communications records in SAP
• Daily review of account management grids
• Prepare reports and customer account analysis as requested
• Process credit requests and coordinate with warehouse on delivery holds
• Assist with yearly audits and monthly closings
• Support team members as needed

Required Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• 2+ years accounts receivable experience
• Strong ERP systems experience
• Excel proficiency
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented with sense of urgency
