FT/PT School Nurse Substitute - Full-time

Nodaway Valley CSD has a current opening for a District Wide School Nurse Substitute

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with valid Iowa licensure
• or LPN with med certification
• Current CPR certification
• Mandatory Reporter Certification

Job Description:

• Maintains accurate and complete health records
• Instructs staff on plan of care and health needs of students
• Monitors for outbreaks of infectious and or communicable diseases
• Works with appropriate public health agencies as necessary
• Provides emergency care when needed
• Administers and records the administration of medication
• Consults with administration, parent/guardian, and school personnel to keep the school informed about pertinent health problems and needs of students
• Works in collaboration with student's physician to provide medical services for students in the school environment

Other duties as assigned. Beginning possibly the month of December
