Lexus of Tacoma - Service BDC/Scanner

Lexus of Tacoma, a dealership in the O'Brien Auto Group, is looking for a Service BDC/Scanner who are seeking the opportunity to advance while working in a clean, and fast-paced dealership along the way.

This position pays $18 per hour.

Job Summary:
The Service BDC/Scanner will be directly responsible for making sure all phone calls and customers are handled in a prompt and professional manner. Customers are always first.

Responsibilities to Include:

• Answer phones:
• Always answer in two rings,
• Direct calls or take detailed, legible messages,
• Log new and used car sales.
• Greet guests courteously:
• Direct to appropriate person or department,
• Offer coffee and be helpful and pleasant.
• Filing.
• Stamp outgoing mail.
• Miscellaneous as time allows:
• Typing,
• Keep reception area clean,
• Office back up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Work in cooperative, positive & professional manner with all personnel in the company.
• Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. Maintain professional demeanor while at work.
• Must conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment.

Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: phone, switchboard, computer, adding machine, copier, calculator, stapler, fax machine, postage machine, pencils/pens, letter opener, scissors, and rulers.

Physical Demands: Frequent twisting and/or turning of trunk, reaching, and handling of objects, intermittent standing, walking and sitting, infrequent stooping, knelling, crouching, and lifting of 10 lbs or less.
