Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant-Manufacturing
Location: NE Grand Rapids (Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)
Compensation: $80-90K base + 10% bonus

Our client is a privately held, profitable manufacturing company and they are seeking a Senior Accountant to support capital projects, fixed assets, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Accountant

• Oversee financials related to capital expenditures, tooling/die, and engineering projects.
• Manage fixed asset processes including tagging, depreciation, and system updates.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, purchasing) to support project execution and financial tracking.
• Assist with cash forecasting and journal entries.

Qualifications for Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to support teams with financial analysis.
• Growth-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
