SUMMARY:

The Marketing Strategist is a key member of the in-house Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team, responsible for driving the organization’s brand presence through integrated marketing campaigns, external, and internal communications. Internal storytelling that reinforces organizational culture is the key focus of this role. The Marketing Strategist combines strategic planning, content development, and data-driven insights to connect the brand with both external and internal audiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Communications & Culture (40%)

  • Lead the development of internal communications strategies that inform and engage employees.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR to highlight organizational initiatives, employee achievements, and cultural storytelling.
  • Extend internal messages into external-facing channels when appropriate to amplify culture and employer brand.
  • Contribute to events, campaigns, and initiatives that build community and strengthen organizational identity.
  • Serve as leader representative and advocate to employee resource groups across enterprise

Marketing Campaigns & Digital Channels (40%)

  • Work closely with Director, Marketing & Growth and Brand Strategist to develop programs resulting in better industry awareness.
  • Partner with the Creative and Design teams to integrate social into larger campaign initiatives.
  • Support multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, web, digital ads, events, partnerships).
  • Develop brand/campaign success measures and monitor impact against identified metrics for consistent leadership report outs.
  • Develop creative briefs and manage production of digital marketing assets.
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone, and identity across all external channels.

Social Media Management (20%)

  • Lead strategy, planning, and execution across all social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
  • Collaborate with external agency to manage the social media content calendar, partnering with creative and communications teams to deliver compelling copy, graphics, and video.
  • Manage community engagement: monitor conversations, respond in real time, and foster authentic connections with audiences.
  • Plan, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns (targeting, budgeting, testing, reporting).
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and adjust strategy based on insights.
  • Stay current on social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms to keep the brand innovative and relevant.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing communications, with emphasis on cultural development and internal messaging.
  • Strong portfolio of multi-platform marketing campaigns that drove measurable engagement and growth.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills, with an understanding of design and visual storytelling.
  • Experience with analytics and paid media platforms (Meta Ads Strategist, LinkedIn Campaign Strategist, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
