Med/Surg Tele RN Float - Travel Assignment Assignment Duration
This is a travel assignment for 16-32 weeks, starting on November 17.
Schedule12-hour night shifts. A minimum of every other weekend is required, along with possible adjustments to the schedule to meet unit needs. Travelers must work two out of four holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
Job DescriptionThe Med/Surg Tele RN Float will provide nursing care across Med/Surg Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed. The role involves working collaboratively to ensure high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities- Float to M/S Tele and MS units as required.
- Participate in team activities and adapt to changes in unit needs.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
- Prior travel experience is necessary.
- Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- NIHSS certification is required prior to start.
- PCCN and orthopedic certifications are preferred.
- Epic experience within the last 2 years is a non-negotiable requirement.
Local travel required, with specific distance pay rates based on proximity.
