Ultrasound Technologist Location
Location: Not specified. Candidates must adhere to a 60-mile radius rule.

Job DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, interpreting images, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. The role includes utilizing various ultrasound equipment and maintaining compliance with department protocols.
Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures with proficiency in vascular and obstetric techniques.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Adhere to all department-specific training and operational protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling new responsibilities as assigned.
- Compliance with on-call requirements and be able to work under pressure.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of one year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Proficient in utilizing major Medical Sonography equipment, both hardware and software.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
