Our organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to help organize and manage a busy clinic. The right candidate will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including reviewing patient files, administering physical therapy and communicating with professionals regarding their patients' progress. We are looking for a driven and hard-working individual with strong organizational skills who is willing to take on responsibility for all aspects of patient care in our busy clinic.

The Physical Therapist Assistant works under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist and performs rehabilitative exercises with patients. They also transport patients out of bed, provide treatment for patients with orthopedic injuries and neurological disorders. This position requires a commitment to the therapeutic standards upheld by our company and a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Work with medically complex patients.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks at the direction of a physical therapist.
- Work within physical, mental, and time constraints of the practice setting.
- Interact with patients and families in a sensitive manner.
- Assist therapists with discharge planning and coordination with other medical providers.
