We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The role involves collecting and maintaining essential documentation from both new and existing suppliers. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure approved supplier records meet stringent food safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will review third-party laboratory data to approve the release of manufactured products and manage organic supply documentation in compliance with the National Organic Program (NOP). This position also requires working closely with customer quality teams to collect documentation supporting organic carbohydrate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collect and maintain required documentation from suppliers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain supplier records.
- Review and approve third-party laboratory data for product release.
- Manage organic supply documentation as per NOP requirements.
- Work with customer quality teams to support organic carbohydrate solutions.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in quality control and food safety.
- Experience with standard operating procedures (SOP) and data entry.
- Knowledge of lab data and quality assurance processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related fields (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of laboratory data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of quality systems and food safety expectations.
Work Environment
Join a dynamic team of three, working primarily behind a computer alongside the FSQ Manager. The role offers a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. This position is part of a newer development within a group focused on adding value across various locations. You will be based in a professional office setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, Nebraska.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
