This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. **Job Type:** Full time **Shift(s) Available:** 3rd shift **Compensation:** $27.87/hr **Sign-on bonus:** $1,500 **Principal Accountabilities:** + Adhere to all safety requirements, including use of PPE, area inspections, hazard recognition, and pre-operational equipment inspections. + Address or report hazards found, report deficiencies found with equipment, input work requests into SAP + Perform tasks in the mining cycle, to facilitate the safe and efficient mining of salt. + Perform any task assigned by Production Supervisor **Required Qualifications:** + Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer + Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility + Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written) + High school degree or GED Equivalent + Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds. + Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment + Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, and different shifts with advance notice **Preferred Qualifications:** + Prior experience in production related work + Basic Computer skills Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
