About the team and position
The Program Specialist, Talent Programs is a key role focused on supporting a wide array of team member programs and initiatives. This position involves facilitating new-hire onboarding processes and contributing to various programs such as Lane Change, Summer Internships, and broader Learning and Development initiatives. Under the Program Manager's guidance, you will help create enriching experiences for team members and support their professional growth.
What you'll be doing
- Efficiently facilitate onboarding for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and effective start at Carvana.
- Monitor and manage the onboarding inbox, providing timely responses and support to new hires.
- Serve as the face of Carvana for new hires, delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience that reflects our culture and values.
- Collaborate with internal partners—like Tech Services, Facilities, and other stakeholders—to ensure a smooth, connected experience for every new hire.
- Actively support and manage key Talent Programs such as Lane Change, Summer Internships, and various professional development initiatives.
- Design and conduct training and workshops to boost professional skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a supportive guide for program participants, aiding their developmental journey.
- Evaluate and refine talent development programs to align with Carvana's objectives and values.
- Communicate and promote talent development activities, fostering organizational awareness and participation.
- Cultivate an inclusive environment that nurtures continuous learning and professional growth.
What you should have
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.
- Previous experience in an administrative role in an office setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with peers, hiring managers and new hires.
- Ability to time manage, multitask and prioritize like a ninja.
- Demonstrates professionalism and practices confidentiality.

It would be great if you also had
- Experience with Workday Learning LMS.
- Experience with Google Suite.
- Experience in instructional design.
- Project management experience.
