Job Description
Position Summary:
At Health Precision, we’re not just building software—we’re transforming the way healthcare is delivered. Our flagship platform, The Medical Brain, leverages real-time AI to empower clinicians + patients and streamline healthcare.
As we expand rapidly, we are seeking a Software Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of Windows systems, .NET development, and application lifecycle management. You will be working hands-on with the source code and architecture of mission-critical Windows clients, driving improvements, automation, and system resiliency at scale.
You’ll be solving high-impact problems, working shoulder-to-shoulder with brilliant colleagues and top-tier healthcare clients, and ensuring that our platform remains robust, secure, and responsive under real-world conditions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build features for our Windows desktop client (C#/.NET: WPF/WinForms, WebView2), with high reliability.
- Deep-dive debugging & performance profiling (memory/GC, energy consumption, threading, async, networking).
- Own secure auto-update/rollback, installers (MSIX, MSI), and resiliency for field deployments.
- Instrument the client (structured logs/metrics) and improve observability with server teams.
- Collaborate with product and QA; mentor others on Windows internals and desktop app patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional C#/.NET; strong WPF or WinForms; Windows API internals experience.
- Proven track record shipping and maintaining Windows desktop apps at scale.
- Expert debugging tools: profilers, memory analyzers, network analyzers.
- Solid understanding of packaging/updaters (MSI/MSIX, code signing).
Preferred qualifications
- Imaging/OCR or OpenCV/Tesseract exposure.
- Interop (COM, P/Invoke), hardware integration, or driver-adjacent work.
- Messaging and caching basics (RabbitMQ, Redis).
Our technology goes beyond traditional AI—it thinks clinically, works in real-time, and acts with precision. We are a mission-driven team of healthcare veterans, technologists, and entrepreneurs who believe in doing hard things for the right reasons. Our clients include top-tier health systems, payers, and innovative care delivery organizations that are transforming value-based care; and report substantial improvements to these clients’ care quality and a significant reduction in the total cost of care (TCC).
Health Precision is growing rapidly, backed by deep clinical credibility, cutting-edge technology, and a team committed to transforming care at scale. We’re looking for exceptional leaders to help us build the future of healthcare.
