Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Food Manufacturing Compounder with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in food or beverage production. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and blending ingredients according to established recipes and formulations, ensuring consistency, safety, and quality in every batch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed batch sheets and formulations to compound food products accurately.
- Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials using scales, blenders, and mixing equipment.
- Ensure all ingredients meet quality and safety standards before use.
- Operate, clean, and maintain compounding equipment and mixing vessels.
- Monitor batch progress and adjust processes as needed to maintain consistency.
- Record data related to batch production, including lot numbers, weights, and time logs.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and company SOPs.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure finished product quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and hygiene initiatives.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of raw materials.
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience in a compounding, mixing, or batch processing role within a food, beverage, or nutraceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret production documents, recipes, and safety instructions.
- Good mathematical skills for accurate measurement and scaling of ingredients.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on product quality and safety.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or overtime, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated mixing and batching equipment.
- Familiarity with ERP or batch tracking systems.
- Food Safety or HACCP certification is a plus.
