Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT and BLS for a night shift, temp-to-perm assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a diagnostic radiology department in an acute care setting
- Night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Utilizes Siemens imaging equipment; experience with Siemens preferred
- Uses RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS for imaging and documentation
- Responsible for performing general diagnostic radiography procedures and troubleshooting equipment or protocol issues
- Ensures proper patient identification, accuracy of demographic and exam information, and correct use of emulsion markers
- Transmits and verifies imaging with PACS and completes documentation in RIS
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports equipment problems promptly
- Assesses patient condition and history prior to exams, verifies pregnancy status as needed, and assists patients requiring extra care
- Will be expected to comply with strict onboarding and background check processes
- ARRT certification in Radiography is required; must maintain registry status and fulfill annual continuing education requirements
- Valid BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required
- Completion of an accredited Associate's Degree or Radiologic Sciences Program is required
- No prior experience required
