Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Residential Group Home | Ewing, NJ
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a Residential Group Home located in Ewing, NJ.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing individualized care plans for four residents in a supportive home environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing high-quality, person-centered care and demonstrates excellent observation, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
- Health Monitoring: Track vital signs and monitor the health conditions of residents.
- Care Coordination: Work with doctors and other healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
- Education: Educate residents and staff on managing their health.
- Compliance: Ensure the home complies with all health and safety regulations.
- Patient Care: Provide support for daily living activities, recovery from surgery or illness, and chronic disease management.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and caring environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license (New Jersey).
- Experience in residential or long-term care preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Full-Time and Per Diem positions available
