Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity features a 4-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour shifts. The provider will deliver primary care services and assist with urgent care overflow, utilizing the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary care services to patients in a clinical setting
• Manage overflow of urgent care cases as needed
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient encounters and care plans in Epic EMR
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and standards

Additional Information

• Must hold a valid North Carolina license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
• Client will cover DOT certification if not already obtained; must secure within 60 days of start
