Job Responsibilities

• Administer general, spinal, regional, and thoracic anesthesia.
• Handle complex cases including cardiac, neuro, trauma, and obstetrical.
• Provide anesthesia in various settings, including operating rooms and specialized procedure suites.
• Participate in patient care, evaluating and managing acute volume and blood pressure issues, and performing arterial line placements.

Qualifications

• Graduate (Master's or Doctorate) of an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Current or ability to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Minnesota.
• Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current certification in CPR, BCLS/ACLS.

Working Hours

• 8, 10, 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday
• 12 or 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday

Skills

• Proficient in administering general anesthesia to adults, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Competent with trauma anesthesia and a variety of surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, and orthopedic.
• Skilled in ventilation management and arterial line placement.
