We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Breast Care Program.
Hours: Full-time
Shift: Day - will include 1st Call 1 weekend per month
Location: 300B Faunce Corner Road, Dartmouth & 235 Hanover Street, Fall River + All 3 Hospitals

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

- Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager or designee, conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
- Assess assigned patient progress and assist in the coordination of care and discharge planning.
- Perform exams, episodic illness visits and follow-up care visits which may require ordering laboratory testing and prescribing medications as needed.
- Act as a resource and/or consultant to phone triage nurses and take phone calls from patients as requested.
- Develop interdisciplinary care plan for breast patients.
- Education and/or Experience: Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
- Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required. Over 3 months experience.
- Genetics experience and/or certification preferred.
- RNFA Preferred.
