Cath Lab RN (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Pay: $2,608/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Boone, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This travel assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiac environment alongside a dedicated team of physicians and technologists.

• Provide expert nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
  
  

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  
  

• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per protocol and physician orders.
  
  

• Accurately document patient care and procedure details in Epic EMR.
  
  

• Monitor hemodynamic and cardiac rhythm changes, responding promptly to emergent situations.
  
  

• Maintain and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment safely and effectively.
  
  

• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

• Uphold infection prevention, radiation safety, and patient care standards in all procedural areas.

• Current RN license: North Carolina or Compact Multistate License
  
  

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab circulating RN experience in an acute care setting
  
  

• Required Certifications:
  
  

  • BLS (AHA)
    
    

  • ACLS (AHA)
    
    

• Skills Required:
  
  

  • Moderate Sedation
    
    

  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation
    
    

  • EPIC EMR proficiency (recent experience required)
    
    

• Scrub Colors: All navy or all white
  
  

• Local Rule: Candidates must live 40+ miles from the facility (driver’s license required for verification)
