Global Airtech has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant/Customer Service position at our Reno location. This is a full-time position, responsible for achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring our products and services meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports various sales colleagues to achieve overall organization goals, sales growth.
  • Enters customers’ Request for Quotes into Pentagon on behalf of Inside Sales Executives.
  • Processes customer orders by entering them as Sales Orders in Pentagon.
  • Coordinates delivery of merchandise and services to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintains quality service by enforcing organization standards
  • Negotiates pricing with vendors to maximize marginal profit.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors.
  • Sources for non-stock items that customers request through I.L.S. to meet their requirements and analyzes market trends for pricing.
  • Provides customers with requested information, such as paperwork, images, updates on delivery, etc.
  • Calls and/or emails vendors or checks Manufacturer or O.E.M. websites to inquire about part pricing and availability
  • Collects and interprets data
  • Utilizes data to develop reports and analysis to maximize sales profit and to procure good inventory
  • May participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows

Requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • At least 2 years of customer service/sales in an office environment
  • Must have strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, management and communication skills
  • Customer focus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time Management - ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Good general computer skills with MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong critical thinking.
