Furniture Sales Associate

Overview
BBSI-Seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Retail Merchandiser Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while showcasing our high-end products. You will leverage your knowledge of retail interior design, renovation, home decor , furniture, patio furniture, exercise equipment, bicycles, assist customers in making informed decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively and your organizational skills will be key in managing sales processes from initial contact through to closing.

Duties

• Greet and engage customers in the showroom, providing a welcoming and informative experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits of various items.
• Computer savvy, Post content to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Take daily photos and short videos of new arrivals, showroom displays, and featured deals
• Manage inside sales by processing transactions through POS systems, handling cash, and maintaining accurate records.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items.
• Maintain showroom appearance through merchandising and stocking displays effectively.
• Support additional weekend coverage during high-volume periods (e.g., Pre-Thanksgiving Sale, Black Friday Weekend).
• Collaborate with team members on account management and marketing strategies to enhance showroom performance.
• Stay informed about industry trends in remodeling, renovation, and interior design to provide knowledgeable assistance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or high-end sales environments is preferred.
• Comfortable using tablets and mobile apps for sales transactions.
• Basic photography and social media posting experience (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Familiarity with basic math for retail transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining showroom standards.

PAY-$17.50-$18.50 PER HOUR

SCHEDULE- MON-FRIDAYS,- FLEXIBLE 8AM-7PM

SOME SATURDAYS AS NEEDED AND HOLIDAYS, MONTH OF NOVEMBER BLACK FRIDAY
