School Psychologist - Newport, TN

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-26 school year beginning July 1, 2025. This role supports students in a K-12 public school setting located in Newport, TN, with a 37.5-hour workweek on a contract basis through the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnoses for referred students.
• Maintain accurate records and prehensive reports related to student evaluations.
• municate and consult with educators, parents, and relevant personnel regarding mental health and psychological concerns.
• Address psychological and mental health challenges to support student well-being.
• Monitor and provide information on services for parental placed students with special needs in private or home school environments.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Current, valid School Psychology license with appropriate state endorsement.
• Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and munication skills.

This role provides a critical function within the school munity by supporting the psychological and mental health needs of students. The caseload size will be established based on referrals during the school year.
