DOT Driver

Aerotek is currently hiring for a DOT Driver in the Frederick area!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver responsible for making daily deliveries of glass finished products to customers within the DMV area. You will be driving a box truck and must hold a DOT license. Assisting customers with unloading the product will also be part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Make daily deliveries of glass finished products within the DMV area.
• Drive a box truck and assist customers in unloading products.
• Start work early in the morning to avoid traffic, with flexible end times between 5am and 6pm.
• Primarily drive within Maryland, with potential routes extending to Washington DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis.
• Operate large box trucks or glass rack trucks with tarp pullover sides.
• Load and unload products as necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety.

Essential Skills

• Experience in delivery and driving a box truck.
• Possession of a DOT license.
• Ability to lift heavy products.
• CDL B or A license preferred for versatility in driving different vehicles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in equipment operation such as overhead cranes and tape measures.
• Strong customer service skills and a good service attitude.
• Flexibility and willingness to load/unload and engage in manual lifting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr.
