As a Business Development Representative, youll serve as a bridge between The Ridge and the professional communities we serve. This role blends relationship development, clinical understanding, and strategic outreach to connect healthcare professionals, employers, EAPs, and referral partners with our programs.
Youll collaborate with internal teams and community stakeholders to increase awareness of The Ridges specialized treatment model and ensure professionals in need of help are guided toward the right level of care.
Your work will directly contribute to saving lives, supporting families, and preserving careers while representing one of Ohios most respected and clinically sophisticated treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and nurture referral relationships with clinicians, hospitals, EAPs, employers, and professional organizations within your territory.
- Deliver engaging presentations and facilitate on-site tours to showcase The Ridges treatment philosophy and serene, 51-acre campus.
- Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure smooth referral transitions and continuity of care.
- Identify emerging referral sources and build strategic partnerships within healthcare, corporate, and community networks.
- Represent The Ridge at professional conferences, networking events, and CE opportunities.
- Use CRM technology and data-driven insights to manage relationships, track outreach efforts, and report activity outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or clinical license/certification preferred (CDCA, LPC, LISW, LCSW, RN).
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare outreach highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in relationship management, business development, or professional liaison work.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills across diverse professional audiences.
- Self-motivated, ethical, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the recovery community.
- Prior sales or outreach experience is highly desired; this position requires strong consultative selling ability and comfort engaging with diverse professional audiences
