\n TransForce is seeking a Local CDL B Route Driver to support operations based in Ashland, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.\n

CDL B Route Driver Details\n

\n
• Schedule: Mon - Fri, 5.30am - 2pm, home daily
\n
• Pay: $24.00/hr plus OT after 40
\n
• Route Type: Local,  8 - 15 stops per day depending route for the day.
\n
• Freight / Load Type: Paper products and cleaning products
\n
• Handling: Heavy Touch / Pallet Jack & Hand carts
\n

\n
CDL B Route Driver Minimum Requirements: \n

\n
• License: CDL B
\n
• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
\n
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
\n
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
\n

\n
CDL B Route Driver Responsibilities: \n

\n
• Safely operate equipment on local routes
\n
• Transport paper and cleaning products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
\n
• Perform required handling tasks using pallet jack and hand carts
\n
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
\n
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
\n
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
\n
• Meet the physical demands of the role
\n
