Head Chef

Position Summary
The Little Room is seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen in Los Angeles. As Head Chef, you’ll oversee daily operations, craft memorable meals, and guide a team of dedicated line cooks and dishwashers. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our menu, upholding the highest standards of food quality, and delivering a dining experience that keeps our guests coming back.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the kitchen team, including line cooks and dishwashers
• Ensure food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards
• Oversee safe food service protocols in compliance with Health Department requirements
• Manage ordering, inventory, and kitchen supplies
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain a strong, motivated team
• Collaborate with management to create and roll out new menu items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
• Valid Food Protection Manager Certification (required)
• CA Food Handler Certification (required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
