Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with 1+ years of recent LTC or rehab experience and a Missouri license for a skilled nursing facility assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting
- Patient population includes residents requiring speech, language, and swallowing therapy
- Full-time contract opportunity
- Provide assessment and therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an LTC/SNF setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- No more than 5-7 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted depending on facility
- All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Current and active Missouri SLP license required if applicable
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
- Experience in LTC or SNF setting required
- Three years of active CCC-SLP experience preferred
- At least 1 professional reference required for consideration
