Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a current MN license for a critical access hospital assignment in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in a critical access hospital setting with a combination of long-term care, outpatient, and inpatient cases
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- No floating or call requirements specified
- Locals not accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Position includes responsibilities across long-term care, outpatient, and inpatient patient populations
- Perm staff must be gone for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off per assignment allowed; no RTO within the first week of start date
- Holiday coverage may be required as needed
- Travelers are responsible for completing labs and fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Current MN physical therapy license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
- Must provide two professional supervisor references from the past 2 years
- Ability to complete in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota on the Monday before start date, as per state requirements
- Medical or religious vaccine exemptions require proper documentation
