Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Fabricator, where you will play a crucial role in installing piping above ground on mine sites. Your expertise in cutting and fitting different sizes of metal for welding, along with your ability to weld pipe and grind welds, will be essential in maintaining the exterior of the mine. This position demands a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics to fabricate products according to orders. Additionally, you will operate presses and ensure daily cleanliness of your work area. This is a physically demanding job, requiring you to be on your feet all day and frequently lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install piping above ground on mine sites.
• Cut and fit different sizes of metal for welding.
• Weld pipe and grind welds to ensure quality.
• Hang pipe securely and maintain exterior mine areas.
• Use blueprints and schematics for accurate fabrication.
• Operate presses for various fabrication tasks.
• Clean work area daily to maintain a safe environment.

• 1+ years of experience in welding and pipe fabrication
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Work in an unheated machine shop where you will be on your feet for over 8 hours a day. This environment requires stamina and strength to handle the physical demands of the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Butte, Montana.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
