American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and a current CA RN license.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit within a 277-bed acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (4x12s)
- 4x12 schedule available upon request
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- Floating between like units within the state is required
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 13-week contract
- Orientation is 36 hours
- Scrubs are provided for L&D nurses
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
- Former permanent staff at a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
