Under supervision, plans and provides nutritional care for participants as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutritional care plans, and evaluates and reports these results appropriately. Maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

• Shift Type: Days
  

• Shift Times: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  

• Hours/Day: 8
  

• Weekend and On-Call requirements TBD.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and/or food and nutrition that meets or exceeds the requirement by the American Dietetic Association for the registration examination.
  

• Successful completion of internship or coordinated undergraduate program that meets the American Dietetic Association guidelines.
  

• Registration or registration eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  

• Licensed or licensed eligible with the State of Iowa.
  

• Current CPR/BCLS certification.
  

• Maintains current Adult Mandatory Reporter status.
  

• Maintains American National Standards Institute accredited food protection/safety certification (i.e., ServSafe Food Protection Manager/Certified Food Safety Manager) or obtained within 90 days for new hire.
  

• Valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
