Material Handler

TITLE: Material Handler

LOCATION: Sumner, WA

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm + OT and weekends if necessary

PAY: $19 - $21DOE

ABOUT THE JOB:

Operating a Sit-down, Reach Truck & Cherry Picker to transport materials, loading and

unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring workplace safety. They also involve tasks like performing routine maintenance on the forklift, documenting inventory, and communicating with other team members.

JOB DUTIES:

·Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments manually or using material handling equipment.

·Operate sit-down, reach truck, and cherry picker forklifts (experience required).

·Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment.

·Sort, count, and organize inventory.

·Report damaged or missing items to supervisors.

·Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S compliance).

·Dispose of debris and broken pallets safely.

·Follow all safety and warehouse operating procedures.

·Assist other departments during high-volume periods.

·Lift up to 40+ lbs consistently.

REQUIREMENTS:

·Experience operating sit-down, reach truck, and cherry picker forklifts is required.

·Ability to lift 40+ lbs consistently.

·Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

·Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.

·Team player with good communication skills.

·Willingness to work overtime when needed.
