Equipment Cleaning Associate - Now Hiring

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Equipment Cleaning Associate to join their team. This position is short term until the cleaning has been completed, however, there might be a chance to transition to a general labor (entry level) position. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good attendance and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment, which will align successfully in this position.

Job Title: Equipment Cleaning Associate

Location: TRAVERSE CITY, MI

Pay Rate: $18 an hour

Shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm (8-hour workday) OR 6 am to 4:30 pm (10-hour workday)

What's the Job?

• Cleaning CNC machines thoroughly from top to bottom using brushes, compressed air, or vacuums with thin nozzles
• Removing debris from all accessible areas of the machinery
• Moving machine spindles to access all sides of linear rails for comprehensive cleaning
• Using dental picks to gently scrape away stubborn particles from bearing blocks if necessary
• Wiping down linear rails, gear tracks, and other surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and white rags to remove residue

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of casual labor and cleaning tasks
• Not afraid to get dirty
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Willingness to work in a temporary assignment with potential for future opportunities
• Must be able to pass the client background and drug screening requirements
