Operating Room RN Job Details

• Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska (zip 69361)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/29/2025 – End: 1/28/2026)
• Shifts: Varied, 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• On-Call: Every 4-5th weekend and 1 weeknight per week
• Number of Positions: 3 OR RN jobs available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Ortho and Neuro OR experience (Level 1 or Level 2 hospital preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work weekday and weekend on-call shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to surgical patients
• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment setup for procedures
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations
• Accurately document patient care and surgical activities
• Demonstrate commitment to high performance standards and continuous improvement in clinical support
